The crazy 1/4 of this year continues at a pace that is unbelievable and no wonder why my life is rushing by, another year nearly gone. If I’m honest, not a second has been wasted.
I had my final meeting at the Dorchester last week before the big Luncheon on the 7th December. Speeches and script are all done and the rehearsing has started. Can’t wait!
A quick dash after work on Friday to the airport. I went to visit my friends in Amsterdam for the weekend; it has been years since I have been there, I forgot what a beautiful city it is, so easy to get around fantastic food – we went to some great restaurants. Thanks Donna and Gary for a fab time.
It was the early flight back into London on Monday. A full day’s worth of hair up do’s and clients then off to the Schwarzkopf and Hairdressers Journal British Hairdressing awards at the Grosvenor House on Park Lane. The room was filled with over 1000 people. It was a great night, always good catching up with people, networking and coming up with great ideas over a few glasses of bubbles.
Congratulations to all the finalists. It’s a great achievement to get there and congratulations to the winners! There was some truly amazing work presented.

Shame my off switch wasn’t working on a Monday evening or more like Tuesday morning – not sure a 4am finish is what was needed at the start of the week. It was a tough day in the salon yesterday but I did it. With the famous words – I’m never doing that again! Early to bed last night so now I’m ready for the whatever the rest of the week throws at me.
As I’m sure you are all aware Christmas is approaching quickly. This year I am donating to the Met Police Christmas Tree Appeal. It’s really easy, if anyone is interested this is the link https://secure.met.police.uk/christmas-tree-appeal/
Enjoy your week!
