Organic Hair Colour Specialist Karine Jackson Shortlisted for London Hairdresser of the Year
Organic colour specialist Karine Jackson has been shortlisted for the prestigious London Hairdresser of the Year award, a title she previously held in 2009, at the British Hairdressing Awards.
Karine, who has just launched a Vegan colour service and holds a Colour Festival throughout August, submitted four images (seen below) for the first round of judging, and will now submit a further four for the second round.
Jayne Lewis-Orr, Executive Director of Hairdressers Journal International, says, “British hairdressing is regarded as the best in the world and to be a finalist for London Hairdresser of the Year is, without overstatement, a huge achievement. Each year the judges find choosing their finalists harder, proving that creativity and passion are stronger than ever, so we salute them in their success.”

Organic Colour Systems Ambassador Karine says of her achievement, “I’m absolutely ecstatic to be on the shortlist this year. It’s great to be recognised by my peers and the judges, and I love having the opportunity to create something really edgy using Organic Colour Systems – imagery that really challenges the perception of organic colour as wishy-washy and shows that you can have statement looks with an eco-friendly, ethical brand. This collection was by no means a one-man show so I’d like to thank the whole team involved.”
The winners will be announced on Monday 28th November at the British Hairdressing Awards annual ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel.
