Welcome to the world of crazy! This is the first moment I have had to tell you all about it…
On Friday night I had a lovely dinner at Dean Street Townhouse where Dolce & Gabbana were having dinner as well. I tried to be cool but managed to have a chat whilst retrieving Errol Douglas’ bag. We had drinks afterwards at Soho Hotel where Errol and I put the world to rights. There’s nothing quite as important as good friends.
Onto Saturday and I spent the day at a kids’ Christmas party getting the voices for a spoof film (a la the Haribo advert) of the council for the Fellowship of British Hairdressing. Thank you Sally, and a special thank you to Milo and all the kids from St Helen’s College in Hillingdon.
Then it was a quick dash right across London to get to my friend Jackie’s house for the start of her birthday celebrations. I haven’t spent much time with my friends lately as I’ve been so busy so it was great to spend some time with them, we went to Hoi Polloi at the Ace Hotel Shoreditch, what a great night!
Sunday was spent with a group of visiting Italians; thanks to Valentina and Organic Colour Systems – another brilliant seminar. I really enjoy these seminar days. We have been invited to go to Florence next year and I can’t wait, although I’m not going to wish the year away, it goes too fast as it is.

Meltdown Monday saw the server not working on my computer. We have our big rehearsal for the Luncheon, which went really well, but I’m so stressed when I can’t receive emails – why are we so tied to technology?
Wednesday was a sensational night as, thanks to Michael, we had amazing tickets to see Madonna; it was like she was singing to me personally. That was the 7th time I have seen her and one of the best. Brilliant show at the O2 – I really like this venue.
Then it was the countdown to the Fellowship for British Hairdressing awards and luncheon at the Dorchester Hotel.
What an amazing day, everything ran like clockwork. We have a great team working with Hellen Ward and Bruno Marc. The film of the council brought the house down, the food was amazing and the after drinks at the Met Bar were brilliant. All a bit of an anti climax now it’s over!
The next few weeks are spent focusing on my brilliant team at Karine Jackson Hair and Beauty. We have a huge run up to Christmas. If you need an appointment please give us a call at the salon.
Our Party is this Saturday at Zedel and I’m sure there’ll be some stories to tell afterwards…
Hope your run up to Christmas is amazing,
