We have some great news to share, I found out today I have been shortlisted for Most Wanted  Colour Expert of the Year 2013. The Grand Finale is on the 2nd September 2013 at the Natural History Museum, it should be a great evening, I will keep you posted... The competition is tough but it’s a great honour to be there.

It has been a crazy busy today already. Early this morning I was at GHD Academy in London judging the next generation of amazingly talented young hairdressers. There was some amazing portfolios that really stood out. Then it was a quick hop, skip and jump down to the Goldwell Academy to judge the Colour Zoom awards.

I then need to get back to the salon for my apprentices’ training; they are doing so well I should have them ready in time to go on the salon floor for Christmas. They were really inspired today after attending a Clubstar event produced by Strangeways last night.

We had a fantastic day out on Sunday at the Vintage Picnic held in Hyde Park. Still a bit achy today, I think it was the tug of war that finished me off. The only shame was the sun forgot to attend and even with all the running around we were freezing.

Tomorrow is our senior training session in the salon for long hair up, getting us all inspired and ready for Prom and wedding season. 

Let’s hope the sun remembers to come back and join us for the rest of the week and beyond.
